SWEET SUMMER LOVE BLOG HOP

Hi and welcome to the Sweet Summer Love Blog Hop.

I'm very privileged to be part of this wonderful group of authors taking part. Please hop around the blogs and discover some talented writers.

Summer in England is known for its unpredictability, so each time we plan for a weeks holiday in the sun, an umbrella and certain amount of warm clothing is necessary.  Our yearly fish & chips on the beach or at the lake normally ends up in a mad dash for the car.  There are so many incredibly gorgeous places to visit here in Blighty, and I look forward to getting in the car, driving to our cottage and having a good nosey around.  As a tip, Kent has some amazing vineyards, Cornwall and Devon have scrummy cream teas and ice cream.  The Lake District is awesome and the Highlands of Scotland are awe-inspiring.

With the summer holidays coming up in England in around 5 weeks (not that I'm counting), I thought it would be fun to ask the following question.

In your fantasy, where would you spend your ideal holiday and with whom?  I have an e-copy of The MisAdventures of Pann Haggerty to give away to one lucky commentator.

As for me, well, I know its probably a bit twee, but I go on my ideal holiday, every year with my husband and kids.  They may be annoying at times, but I can't imagine it without them.  Besides, who else can make you laugh with dreadful knock-knock jokes.

Good luck and enjoy the hop!

Love Kooks xxxxxxxx

  5. Manda, I have just stopped by to support your fun hop. However, your post got me thinking. Oh my gosh, for summer or any reason whatsoever, the British Isles is where I would pick to go. How wonderful you get to live there! I am drawn to British history and love historical romances. Even though I write paranormal fantasy romances, each book has a fae time travel aspect to it. http://flossiebentonrogers.com
